The Wet Cast / Dry Cast Difference

Dry Cast

If your project consists of smaller repetitive pieces such as copings, bands, sills, lintels, base or other ornamental items, we would want use the Dry Cast method. The pieces are typically non-structural and can be set by hand by a mason.

Wet Cast

If your project consists of larger pieces such as copings, bands, sills, lintels, base or panels, we would use the Wet Cast method. These pieces are typically to large to be set by hand and may also require some type of cast-in mechanical device for lifting or installation.

We also have the ability to combine both Wet and Dry Cast Stone on a project.
